Middletown High School North’s children’s theater was a success on Friday with the productions of Something Good, the Giving Tree, the Paper Bag Princess, and Stephanie’s Ponytail are sure to be the subject of many of the students from the elementary schools that had attended the plays.
After being asked what their favorite play was, most children enthusiastically responded with the Paper Bag Princess; with the Giving Tree coming in as a close second. The greeting from the characters was filled with high fives and smiles; some children being too shy, but most being excited from the production.
Will the plays next year be a huge success? Only time will tell. For now, the Drama Workshop class can say with pride that this year was definitely one to remember; and they can only hope that they’ve made an impact on the minds of these young students, whether it be for a day, for a week, for a month, or, maybe even, a year.
