North received a guest visit from the Coast Guard on Tuesday as one lucky class got an upfront tour of a Dolphin helicopter.
Mr. Mills” students admired the casino online helicopter from an upclose view, even touching the magnificent machine. The pilots answered many questions by the interested students who grilled them about their jobs.
“I never thought I”d see a helicopter land on our campus,” said junior Mike O”Sullivan. “It was a cool sight to see, being so close.” O”Sullivan commended the pilots and crew for answering the many questions of the students.
Sophmore Ken Kotala saw things differently. “I thought someone had died,” Kotala said. “It was a shock to look outside and see helicopter.”
The size of the helicopter was incredible and is even more impressive than when it flies over head. These men, who risk their lives to help those trapped at sea, were able to spare some of their time to educate some students on what it takes to be in the Coast Guard. [nggallery id=7]
