On Monday, September 24, the television series Manifest aired on NBC.  The series focuses on passengers of a plane reemerging after having been presumed dead for five years.

After arriving in New York City on a flight home from Jamaica, passengers aboard the Montego Air Flight 828 must attempt to reconstruct their lives after they realize how long they have been gone.  They also learn that although five years has passed, none of them has aged a single day. As the show continues, the passengers learn exactly how much their lives have been changed in the years that have passed.

Melissa Roxburgh stars as Michaela Stone, a police officer who arrives home to find that her boyfriend has married her best friend.  Josh Dallas plays the role of Ben Stone, an intelligence officer whose son suffers from a terminal illness. Parveen Kaur plays Saanvi Bahl on the show, a graduate student and medical researcher whose findings may save the lives of many, including Ben’s son.
