Gigantic trees. The world-famous Rockettes. A memorial to one of the most tragic events in American history. The three things listed above are some of the things that the DECA club witnessed when they went on a trip to New York City on Monday, December 5th, 2016.

Led by advisor and business teacher Susan Heeter, the club went to the Radio City Musical, John’s Pizzeria, and the 9/11 memorial and museum. At the musical, they watched as the Rockettes, Santa Clause, and many others danced and put on a show for the entire crowd. During their trip to the 9/11 memorial and museum, they were educated about the attacks that took place on September 11th 2001, and saw that memorial which had the names of all of the victims of the attack. The trip was a break from all the stress of school and educational.
