American Horror Story: Hotel will Leave you Shocked, Terrified, and Begging for More

Amber Bayham, Editor of Arts and Entertainment

American Horror Story fans around the world should probably grab a doggy bag, because the new season, “Hotel”, is the most brutal and terrifying yet.

The new episode, which premiered last Wednesday at 10 PM featured spiteful receptionists, horrifyingly cruel demons, creepy children, lots of blood, and yes – even Lady Gaga, starring as the Hotel Cortez’s own Countess. While it’s surprising for Gaga to be in this season, she’s doing very well as one of the most important characters, as well as fitting in well with the familiar faces a lot of American Horror Story fans are bound to recognize.

However, many fans are disappointed, and even angry, that Evan Peters (who many consider to be the “heartthrob” of each season) did not star in the first episode; which is unusual for Peters, seeing as though he starred in the very first episodes of American Horror Story thus far, playing Tate Landon, Kit Walker, Kyle Spencer, and, most recently, Jimmy Darling from American Horror Story: Freak Show.

But, of course, seeing as though Peters’ fan base is literally about to burst at the seams, there is bound to be a cameo by the star very soon. Many predict that he is going to be the main villain of Hotel, what with his newly slicked back, black hair and thin moustache. If you weren’t completely starstruck by Lady Gaga’s performance (or the brutality of the murders possibly done by Peters,) then you’re probably one of many waiting for Evan Peters to make a cameo.

Even without Evan Peters, a large majority of the fan base seems to have incredibly high hopes for Hotel, hoping it will make up for the more disappointing points of Freakshow. As for this fan, I’m just hoping Lady Gaga’s stellar performance will make up for the lack of Jessica Lange in this season.
