Survivor

If you’re looking for a reality TV show that challenges people, tests their ability of proficiency and competitiveness and entertains you every minute of the episode, Survivor is the show for you. In my opinion, Survivor is the best, if not one of the best, reality TV shows in this generation. Survivor is a show like no other. The competitors on Survivor signed themselves up for the ultimate test of self capability. This show challenges their competitors to the full extent. On the show, the competitors are split into two tribes, which eventually turns into a merge when people get eliminated. The two tribes are selected randomly this season, Bayon and Ta Keo, each involving competitors from past seasons coming back to redeem their “second chance” on Survivor. The tribes are tested to work together and manage to adjust themselves to each other’s personalities, living skills and styles, and also physical and social capability. This season on Survivor, each player is from a previous season. Many players knowing each other from past seasons are now being thrown into working with each other once again, most knowing that they have blind-sided or backstabbed others in the past. The premiere of Survivor was just recently this Wednesday, the 23rd of September. This premiere of Survivor was like no other. The player’s met in Cambodia and were all immediately thrown into the elimination challenge. Usually after the elimination challenge on Survivor, the players will have time to go back to their shelter that they built to discuss alliances before heading into elimination. This episode, the players did not have that opportunity. The losing tribe, Ta Keo, was immediately thrown into a fierce elimination and one member of the tribe was already eliminated, mostly for his annoying personality towards his tribe members. Every day and each week spent on the island for these competitors will become more of a physical, mental, and emotional endurance for each player. They will each face starvation, dehydration and even emotional distress and loneliness. All I can say is the winner of Survivor, most definitely always earns it and works hard for it. This season will be like no other and it has great entertainment to come. Tune in every Wednesday @ 8:00 on CBS to watch Survivor!
